I am a PhD student at McGill University in Montreal, although I am currently living in Alberta. My research can be summarized as palaeomacroecology; that is, I have an interest in large scale patterns and processes of species diversity changes through the fossil record. This involves projects on beta diversity in Maastrichtian dinosaurs, latitudinal diversity gradients in plants, and network analyses of biogeography.
I am currently married to my beautiful wife Meaghan, and we have a new baby (as of Feb. 11, 2009) by the name of Callum.
